Terms
Terms of use
Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms are between you and Suman Gupta, a sole proprietor based in Thane, Maharashtra 401107, India, who makes and operates Kibble. They are written to be read rather than to be impressive, and they are short because the app does very little to you.
The important one, first
Kibble is an alarm clock, not a guaranteed wake-up service. It runs on a phone you own, on an operating system we do not control, and any number of things outside our reach can stop an alarm sounding: the battery dying, the phone being switched off or in flight mode, a system update, a manufacturer's power-saving feature closing the app, the volume being turned down, or a fault in our own code.
Kibble is built to survive as much of that as an app can, and the reliability check inside the app exists to show you when something on your phone is working against it. Even so: keep a second alarm for anything that genuinely matters : a flight, an exam, a medication, a shift. Do not rely on Kibble alone for those.
What you are agreeing to
By installing and using Kibble you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.
Using the app
- Kibble is for your own personal use.
- Do not decompile, resell or redistribute the app, and do not use it to harass anybody.
- Do not use the app while driving or doing anything else where being distracted is dangerous.
- Missions require physical movement. Choose one you can safely do. The typing mission exists for exactly this reason. Do not attempt a walking mission if moving unaided at that moment is unsafe for you.
Health
Kibble is not a medical device and offers no medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any sleep condition. If you have a sleep disorder or persistent difficulty waking, speak to a doctor rather than relying on an app.
Subscriptions
Core alarm functionality is free and will stay free. Cat Club is an optional subscription for additional cats, missions and customisation. When it launches:
- Billing is handled by Google Play, under Google's payment terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel through Google Play rather than through us.
- Refunds follow Google Play's policy. We can ask on your behalf; we cannot issue them ourselves.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. The price and the renewal date are shown before you start one.
Your data
Your alarms, history and settings live on your phone, not on our servers. We have no copy and cannot restore anything you lose. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently. See the privacy policy for the detail.
The app changes
Features may be added, changed or removed, and the app may stop supporting older versions of Android over time. Where a change removes something you paid for, we will say so before it happens.
Liability
Kibble is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a missed or late alarm, including being late, missing an appointment, or any consequence of either. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you bought a subscription as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Ending it
You can stop using Kibble at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if the app is being misused in a way that breaks these terms or the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of Kibble is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
